Pearls of true wisdom.

It's always so wonderful when someone has already expressed what I feel so perfectly.

Everything old is new again -- if you want to know what is right and true in the world, ask a Bard.

Civility, yes. Fairness and openness, yes. No to impeachment? Not a fucking chance. Investigations- which are desperately needed- will, I suspect, show a major need for it. He got us into an unwarranted war and lied to do it- he wanted that war before the 2000 elections; he's on record with that. He's trashed our military services to deal with the war he wanted, and killed our budget to support it. He's damaged our civil liberties and our rights. He insisted on his right to torture. He's ruined what possibility we had of actually brokering a balance in the region with his cronyism and war profiteering. He's disgraced our country. Don't even think about telling me I shouldn't call for impeachment. I want the bastard hanged for war crimes... and I think I'm quite moderate in my opinions. I'm not insisting he be hanged in our country.

You know, there's a REASON the Constitution allows for impeachment. We're supposed to support the Constitution, IMO; that means we do what it says even when we don't like it. And you don't deal with Conservatives by making nice and calling for bipartisanship; I've learned that in the last twenty years. The only thing they respect is a kick in the teeth... so we do it. Politely, in full view of the United States and the world, and absolutely Constitutionally. :::turning off Rant mode:::
