24/1/13 14:26 (UTC)Why I like them: (You have to understand that I come into Arrow with a metric fuckton of good will for all these characters.) I like Laurel because she's practical, idealistic, and even though she's clearly attracted to Oliver, she realizes a relationship with him is a bad idea and is trying to act accordingly.
Why I don’t: She feels like a distraction at this point - her strengths have actually disengaged her from the main storyline.
Favorite episode (scene if movie, book, manga, etc): In Starcrossed Murderers, I like that she was willing to reach a compromise with Tommy over the money thing.
Favorite season/movie/book/volume One (obviously)
Favorite line: "I hoped you'd rot in hell longer than five years."
OTP: No matter how hard they try to sell me on Tommy/Laurel, I'm a Laurel/Ollie girl all the way! (ah, childhood imprinting!)
Brotp: Laurel/Joanna
Head Canon: That Laurel is Black Canary and she and Ollie will start a torrid affair as their alter egos where they never remove their "masks".
Unpopular opinion: That Katie Cassidy does a decent job with the part.
A wish: That I get to see her mocking her mother's idea of a superhero costume.
An oh-god-please-don't-ever-happen: Don't stick her with the bathing suit/fishnets/motorcycle jacket look. BE BETTER THAN THE 70'S, CW!!!!!
5 words to best describe them: Savvy, idealistic, fierce, issues, tough
My nickname for them: N/A
