I think you handled the Eliot scenes excellently in this story. Mind you, I pretty much loved the whole thing anyway :)
Writing Parker can be awesome fun, I know, but at the same time she does give me trouble, because she's just not a straight-forward, linear kind of a person! lol
Can I just say, I love that you write fic with your Mom. Ain't it great having her in fandom with you? My Mum is way into Leverage too and she betas all my stuff. I love that :)
