3. How do you come up with names, for characters (and for places if you're writing about fictional places)?
In the case of The Four Angels, I needed variations on the archangel names (although I'm in the process of losing that conceit). Tabitha was actually inspired by a real person I met at Dragoncon, so I kept the name.
Diana is my favorite name, so a lot of times there will be one character in any given piece with that precise name or a variation of it.
Dari was always going to be Dari. Not only did she walk into my imagination full-blown, she was already named.
