The actor who plays the district attorney on Big Love has been tweaking my "he looks familiar" button all season. So I finally looked him up on IMDB.

Charles Esten.

Chip Esten.

He was a semi-regular on "Who's Line is it Anyway?" - the show Robin, Mom and I watch repeats of on the DVR whenever we can.

I don't think he's in danger of being typecast anytime soon.
